Ah graduation: The capstone on years and years of study and toil. School is no joke—and neither are most school portraits (Well, except for these gems). For the most part, though, yearbook pictures and senior portraits never convey personality, let alone the sense of pure unadulterated elation that comes when you finally finish your degree. If you’re embarking on a graduation party photo booth, which you definitely should, here are some tips to keep in mind as you plan for the big event.

New research shows that party booths are more popular than DJ’s, and we have to say we’re not the least bit surprised. 

It’s no secret that having a photo booth at your party takes the fun factor up to 11. How often,in our daily lives, do we get to play dress up? Nowhere near enough! There is something magical about putting on a wig, headdress, or foam finger that just lets us escape ourselves and have a ball.

Dudes and Dudettes, guess what? Wedding Season is nearly upon us! And if you’re here reading this right now, it likely means you’re planning on having a Two Dudes photo booth at your wedding—or you’re at least considering it. 

We’ve got some suggestions about how can you get the utmost bang for your buck out of your Two Dudes photo booth experience!

Bill & Brad decided on a destination wedding in their favorite city, San Francisco, CA. As fellow travelers we recognize that it’s our duty to not only welcome them to our city but to show them around.

Kristen and Matt celebrated the night away at the gorgeous Leal Vineyards, an oasis with water and wine in Hollister, CA.  The wedding party was tons of fun and it was clear they know to have a good time.

Jorden and Kalvin were bestowed the honor of being the first group EVER to book our booth, less than 3 days after our site went up! We appreciate the faith they had in us to pull off an amazing photo booth experience and can't thank them enough.

Meet Ryan and Whitney...do ya see their signs? They made them. And I must have them! 

We recently realized was that our setup is capable of taking AMAZING headshots (well, duh), but people still want to have fun, because, well, our photo booth is built for fun. So, what can we do to make both possible?

Well, we came up with something we affectionately call "the Mullet".  

Only the coolest of cool couples can pull off a gothic wedding dance party on a Sunday night in San Francisco, thank you Ali and Jon. Lucky enough we had our Vixen background to ensure our photo booth could stand up to the awesomeness of this group. How many ways can you say edgy, stylish, awesome (oops already said that, you get the point!)? Did I mention good taste? If you’ve never been to the club Mercer in San Francisco, it’s intimate and hip in a way that only a San Francisco nightclub can be. Also mad props to the props the bride and groom brought which included a long black veil, furry red coat and skeleton mask. I want them all. I have a problem. 

Who visited 11 cities in 16 days, pulling off more than 20 events showcasing Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 3? None other then the Two Dudes. It has been a whirlwind and we are just now coming back up to the surface (no pun intended) for a breath of fresh air. The last few weeks have been filled with blood, sweat and tears…err should I be honest and say traveling, eating and mingling with some of the nations leading innovators from Microsoft. Needless to say we feel very fortunate to be a part of Microsoft’s Futures tour, it has been a fabulous and exciting experience and we have enjoyed every minute of it.

I’m not going to lie - when we walked through the doors and entered the Grand Hall at the Flood Mansion in SF, I took a moment to myself and imagined I lived in this classic Italian Renaissance designed mansion with stunning views overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Thirty seconds later, I was back on the job sprinkling the dolphin sweat and unicorn tears on our photo booth to make sure we were fully charged with portrait magic.

What a lovely day spent at an outdoor street fest helping to raise funds for The Berkeley School. Good cause, good people, good fun, we couldn’t ask for anything more. We confirmed that kids and adults alike love the booth.

This past weekend we attended the School Force annual fundraising event Get Down, Get Derby at the College of San Mateo. The Derby themed party was riddled with stylish attendees wearing finely crafted designer hats, which only added to the fun props and photo booth experience at the event. This group was the first to try our red curtain backdrop and the result was stunning if I must say so myself. The red curtain is my favorite backdrop in our collection hands down and you can see why in the photos below. 

This enthusiastic group celebrated their U.C. Berkeley graduation at the Berkeley City Club and actually set the record for the most number of people in a Two Dudes photo with their very FIRST photo of the evening. That’s right, they got 26 people in their very first photo! No doubt this group came ready to party and had no hesitation in getting the most out of their photo booth experience. Congratulations to the 2014 Cal grads and go Bears! 

The 2014 Stanford Grad School grads packed the house at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City to celebrate all their hard work. They couldn't get enough of our sexy Vixen back drop and photo booth. 

This Sunday, the Two Dudes teamed up with Openhouse, a wonderful non-profit group in San Francisco which provides housing, services, and community programs for seniors in the LGBT community.
