What portrait Styles do you offer?
The real answer here is whatever you want. We love to create custom looks and personalized portrait experiences for every client, but we know the challenge of inventing a brand new headshot style can be daunting.
In this guide, we’ve tried to break down the general portrait process to help you decide on the look that’s right for your team/event.
Just remember that we’re happy to do something completely new - this is meant to be a guide to help you understand what’s available, but not to limit you!
One of the first decisions you’ll want to make is whether you want to do a traditional headshot, a black-and-white portrait, or something using the environment or venue…feel free to click on each of the galleries below; we’ll wait.
What color background can I choose?
You’re going to start to notice a pattern here, but the short answer is whatever you want. There’s an infinite number of backdrops, but we’ve put together some tried and true categories below to explore.
Obvious Disclaimer: If you choose black-and-white portraits, your background choices become limited to the visible spectrum from light to dark, and if you choose an environmental portrait, the backdrop is, well, the environment.
What other tricks you got?
Yeah, yeah, you know what’s coming: whatever you want. There’s lots we can do with lighting and posing and photography, from moody lighting to digital effects. Sometimes it can be gimmicky, and sometimes it only looks cool on supermodels, but feel free to share your thoughts and we’ll let you know if we think they’re lame. We kid!
