what does ‘environmental’ mean?
Despite what you might have thought, we are not taking portraits for climate change or raising money to fight global warming. The term ‘environmental portrait’ is fancy photographer speak for ‘no backdrop’, as we are using nature or your venue/installations as the backdrop for our portraits.
While that does mean we have a bit less gear to haul (woohoo!), it does add a bit of technical difficulty due to a pesky sun that never stops moving and people who tend to get in the way by walking through our nice portraits. That said, we love a challenge and we love environmental portraits as a way to bring your unique locations and (often expensive) build-outs into the portrait.
